Homemade Spaghetti Sauce
















3lbs Sweet Italian Sausage
1 Large Spanish Onion
2 Red Sweet Bell Peppers
1lb White Mushrooms
10 Cloves Garlic
1 Large Can Stewed Tomatoes
1 Large Can Tomato Paste
1 Bottle Good Chianti (Red Wine)
1 Large Can Tomato Puree
Olive Oil
2 Bay Leaves
Italian Seasoning to taste.


Brown meat in about 2 tablespoons of olive oil, add onion, peppers, garlic and cook for about 5 minutes.
Add stewed tomatoes, tomato paste and tomato puree.
One glass of wine goes to chef!!!!!! The rest....throw it in the pot.
Clean mushrooms, quarter them and add.
Add Italian Seasoning, Salt and Pepper to taste and last but not least, Bay leaves.
Simmer on low - 3 hours stirring occasionally to prevent burning.

I hope you enjoy my fathers Spaghetti Sauce Recipe. I make this allot and freeze what I don't use, so I never have to buy Spaghetti Sauce. This is a GREAT MONEY SAVER!!!! ENJOY!
